Filming Blog final task

 

So during my filming it was a fun process of course, i got my friend to help out with recording me and do various things and ect. However some of the things i did and some of the things i did not film. For example, the cat dead body thing i felt that was really cringy and stuff so i messed with my script a lot to make it more adultlike, i didn't want my video to be that cringy at least not that much, i used the same location, which was the house and like a place close by, there was no rain thankfully. My entire script like the phone call i made it sound better and everything, instead of me being the only producer and stuff, i got a friend to help me out with recording the scenes. The problems i ran into was the fact that my video was just simply bad and i had to redo it, i didn't want to just B.S the assignment i wanted it to look like i actually tried, at least a little bit.

Editing blog music video

  For editing my music video i first had to cut down some of my parents. All together i probably recorded like 5 minutes worth of footage, so i had to cut that down to like 1 minute. Before submitting, since i had extra time and everything I wanted to impress Cambridge, so i tried to do some special effects on my video, like the gif that follows below, like when the camera is still focused on the face, but moves side to side relatively fast. While recording i was kind of a little bit running out of ideas for what to actually to include in the video so i may have a little bit of filer, shots that aren't really that necessary. Moreover, during my editing phase in addition to cutting out scenes, i has to cut out entire scenes because i realized that i actually had way to much filer, like scenes that weren't me, so i had to change that up and put myself in most of the scenes. April 12 production blog

  So, finally i finished, the masterpiece is complete. I know i said i wanted it as a movie film, but it probably wont look like it. I filmed it and everything, it isn't the best but i give it like a 8 out of 10, i didn't have the godly camera, i couldn't take it outside because the day i went to my friends house it was raining so that was the first L. However, with the power of editing, and a good editing software, i hope i can make that 8 a 10. I filmed the video and everything, all is going smoothly, but i feel like i haven't filmed enough for some reason. That is pretty much the only problem i have right now. With premier pro I'm going to make the quality better, sound effects, background music, and everything to bring the best out of this video. All the pan and other film terminologies are incorporated in this video, I'm tryna do split screen but I'm not sure how that is gonna work. April 8th production blog

  So im going to reshoot my final task this weekend at my friends house again, my storyboard is pretty much the same but I'm just trying to make it look nice, im still adopting that detective role. Time really flies and the due date is around the corner. So, i think this weekend will be my second and last draft for the final task so i really hope it goes well. I'm planning to do it this weekend and then im going to give myself a couple days of editing so i can really perfect the final task.
