You can already tell right away, without even watching the movie that this is a comedy, even if you removed everything but the actor. The actor is will Ferrell as said in the poster and he is known to be a funny guy and you know he is associated with the comedy genre and not romance or horror. In addition, even if it wasn't him, the poster is of a grown man in a elf costume. This picture of an elf in yellow tights and pointed black shoes tell the audience that it is directed to a more family friendly type movie and there most probably wont be any type of adult stuff. In addition, the time this movie was let out tells us that the movie is going to be Christmas related and all Christmas moves are more a the family-friendly type and a comedy. The costumes and makeup of the elves target child audiences because those little kids believe in Santa and they think this is cool. A varity of shots are used, master shot and establishing shot are used heavily to display the setting and the communication between the elf and different characters and the task he is doing while he talks. For example he sits in the elf's boss' lap

Editing blog music video

  For editing my music video i first had to cut down some of my parents. All together i probably recorded like 5 minutes worth of footage, so i had to cut that down to like 1 minute. Before submitting, since i had extra time and everything I wanted to impress Cambridge, so i tried to do some special effects on my video, like the gif that follows below, like when the camera is still focused on the face, but moves side to side relatively fast. While recording i was kind of a little bit running out of ideas for what to actually to include in the video so i may have a little bit of filer, shots that aren't really that necessary. April 12 production blog

  So, finally i finished, the masterpiece is complete. I know i said i wanted it as a movie film, but it probably wont look like it. I filmed it and everything, it isn't the best but i give it like a 8 out of 10, i didn't have the godly camera, i couldn't take it outside because the day i went to my friends house it was raining so that was the first L. However, with the power of editing, and a good editing software, i hope i can make that 8 a 10. I filmed the video and everything, all is going smoothly, but i feel like i haven't filmed enough for some reason. That is pretty much the only problem i have right now. With premier pro I'm going to make the quality better, sound effects, background music, and everything to bring the best out of this video. All the pan and other film terminologies are incorporated in this video, I'm tryna do split screen but I'm not sure how that is gonna work. April 8th production blog

  So im going to reshoot my final task this weekend at my friends house again, my storyboard is pretty much the same but I'm just trying to make it look nice, im still adopting that detective role. Time really flies and the due date is around the corner. So, i think this weekend will be my second and last draft for the final task so i really hope it goes well. I'm planning to do it this weekend and then im going to give myself a couple days of editing so i can really perfect the final task.
